Why do I write blogs...
The answer is two-fold, one because I love to learn and two because I love to write.
With age, I have developed an appreciation for broadening my intellectual horizon. I believe it's important to stay educated and with so much information at out fingertips through technology, it's been fun to research and learn!
I have always been a bit of a writer; I get that trait from my Mother! I've always kept a journal of some sort and often find it easier to write down the words than verbalize them. However, I don't consider myself talented or claim to use proper literature procedure, but...it is what it is, I guess that's my style!

I get nearly all of my information by searching the internet. A lot of times I use Wikipedia or the website on the topic I am writing. Lately, I have found the "Chat with Copilot" engine on Microsoft Bing to be very useful.
Where do I get my topic ideas? This is the hardest part of the whole process. I usually like to target subjects that relate to the time of year or something that affects me personally. I also try to please my audience with information that interests you, but I realize there is a very diverse group of readers.
On that note, if you have a topic you would like to see me blog about, please add it in the comments below. I am always open to suggestions!

Lastly, I want to extend a huge thank you to all of my readers!! I get notified every time someone opens my blog (with their location, not the name), and it makes my heart warm every time!
I want to give a special shout out to my registered site members! I believe you can become a site member by clicking the "Sign Up" button on the bottom of the screen when you first open the blog. There are no strings attached with this, it just means you will get an email notification when a new blog is published. (Plus, it supports my report numbers).
And most of all, I want to thank Randy! He has been such a positive supporter to me. Often times I have him proof my blog and give me constructive feedback. He truly inspires me to keep writing!

What does the future hold? Noone really knows...but for now, I have decided to keep writing. I went into this having 1 year as my goal. Now that I have reached that, I have to step back and decided if it's something I want to continue.
I can't guarantee that they will be published consistently every week as they have been, but I realized I don't want to stop completely. So, with that, I hope you continue to follow and enjoy my blogs!!
And again, I appreciate your feedback and / or suggestions for blog topics!
